Privacy at Sideline

Information you provide

When you sign in, Sideline receives a site-specific account identifier and may receive your email and display name from ChatGPT sign-in. We store the account type you choose, profile information, uploaded PDF résumés, job postings, saved jobs, applications, application status changes, school workspace memberships, staff invitations, private hiring review notes, and support conversations you start.

What others can see

Open job listings are public and may appear in search results. School contact emails are not included in public listings. Coach profiles are unlisted by default. If you choose to list your profile, signed-in members can view your profile and download the PDF attached to it. Your profile email is shared with schools you apply to, rather than shown in the coach directory.

Submitting an application shares a copy of your coaching résumé, contact email, application message, and attached PDF with the school that posted the opening. In a shared school workspace, the school owner and hiring managers can access applications, and reviewers can access applications to openings they are assigned. Other schools cannot access that application. Anyone who downloads a file may retain a separate copy.

School workspaces

School owners invite colleagues using their ChatGPT sign-in email. Invitations expire after seven days and can be revoked. Staff names, sign-in emails, and roles are visible to the school owner and hiring managers. Reviewers see their own membership information. Hiring team members can add private application review notes; applicants cannot access those notes. Removing a membership or reviewer assignment removes the related access, but cannot remove copies someone already downloaded. Existing personal postings are shared with a team only when their author explicitly moves them into a workspace.

Support conversations

Support messages, subjects, and your signed-in display name are visible to you and the Sideline owner who handles support. They are not visible to other members. Replies stay inside Sideline; no external email notifications are sent. Deleting your account removes support requests you started and the messages in those conversations.

Storage and service providers

Sideline uses Sites hosting and sign-in services and Cloudflare database and file storage to operate the service. Browser session information is used for sign-in. Fonts may be loaded from Google Fonts. This version does not include advertising or analytics trackers. Service providers may process technical logs under their own terms.

Your choices and deletion

You can edit or unlist your profile, replace its attached PDF, withdraw applications, and close your school’s openings. Schools retain the copy of your résumé submitted with an application unless you delete your Sideline account. Replacing a PDF does not replace older application attachments.

Delete your Sideline account to remove your profile, uploaded files, saved jobs, applications, personal postings, private review notes you wrote, school memberships, and support requests you started from the active service. Applications submitted to your personal postings are also deleted. Shared school jobs and applications stay with the school. School owners must transfer ownership or delete their workspace before deleting their account. This does not delete your ChatGPT account, provider logs or backups governed by their retention policies, or files another person already downloaded.

Use professional information

Do not include student records, student contact details, or other private information about minors in profiles, résumés, job listings, or applications.
