Getting started

Choose I’m a coach or I’m hiring on the home page. Sign in with your ChatGPT account; there is no separate Sideline password. My account shows your sign-in email, starting view, school team roles, saved jobs, and support messages.

On your phone

Use the navigation bar at the bottom to find jobs, discover coaches, open your activity, or manage School teams. The sport dropdown includes every category. Choose More filters to narrow jobs by location, position, or employment type.

For coaches

Sign in with ChatGPT, choose a coach account, and build your résumé. You can add a PDF up to 5 MB. Browse jobs by sport and location, save openings, and apply using your résumé. Track school updates in My applications.

For schools

Choose I’m hiring when getting started, or change your starting view from My account. Use Post a job to add an opening. Your Hiring dashboard shows applications and lets you update applicant statuses, edit openings, and close or reopen applications. Applications arrive in the dashboard; email notifications are not sent.

Shared school hiring

Open School teams to create a workspace if you are an authorized school representative, or accept an invitation from your school owner. The owner invites colleagues by their ChatGPT sign-in email and shares an invitation link. Sideline does not send invitation emails. Invitations are valid for seven days.

School owners manage staff and ownership. Hiring managers post and edit openings, update applicant statuses, and assign reviewers. Reviewers can read applicants for assigned openings and leave private team notes. Reviewers cannot edit jobs or change applicant statuses. Existing personal postings can be moved into a workspace using Share with a school team in the hiring dashboard.

Sign-in and account access

Sideline uses ChatGPT sign-in. Use the same ChatGPT account on each device to see the same Sideline information. You can switch between coach and school account types from your account menu.
